BRINGING THE BENEFITS OF CLEAN ENERGY TO CANADA

To keep pace in a world with changing priorities, Renewable Energy Systems Canada (RES Canada) and its parent company RES Americas are “Changing Energy.” A fully-integrated wind energy company, RES Americas develops, constructs, owns, and operates wind projects across the United States and Canada. RES Americas and RES Canada are leaders in the energy industry and will continue to lead as our continent embraces wind energy as a mainstream source for powering the future.

The Ontario government has made the development of clean, affordable and sustainable sources of electricity a top priority. RES Canada also recognizes the importance of renewable electricity and, for this reason, is moving forward to develop the Talbot Wind Project.

With strong wind resources, access to the electrical grid and landowner support, Chatham-Kent is an ideal candidate to largely benefit from wind energy development. Land payments to farmers in the Talbot project zone are significant and will help to keep the farming economy alive in Chatham-Kent. Additionally, wind power creates jobs, provides a boost to the local economy and is a valuable source of property tax income for local governments.
